Carlos Ruiz goes 1-for-4 versus Twins

The Phillies mounted a 15-hit attack in a 7-3 win over the Twins on Thursday. Eight Phillies had at least one hit, including catcher Carlos Ruiz, who finished 1-for-4 with a walk. Ruiz, who was giving Cameron Rupp a day off, is now batting .216 for the season.
Fantasy Impact:
Ruiz has been struggling for much of the last month and a half, after getting off to a hot start. He's likely not going to play again until late this weekend or next week. Ruiz doesn't play enough and isn't productive enough when in the lineup to warrant a spot in most fantasy leagues.
