CC Sabathia day to day with ankle injury

Sabathia turned his ankle during Wednesday's game against Colorado, which resulted in a somewhat abbreviated outing for the 35-year-old (86 pitches). Fortunately, X-rays were negative, and the Yankees seem optimistic he'll be ready to face the Rangers early next week. That said, Sabathia's availability may not be confirmed until he completes his between-starts bullpen session.
