Yovani Gallardo was effective against Tampa Bay on Friday night. He pitched 5.1 innings, allowing three runs and striking out three. The Orioles went on to beat Tampa Bay 6-3.
Fantasy Impact:
Gallardo didn't have his best stuff, but he did a decent job limiting damage. Gallardo is now 2-1 with a 6.04 ERA and will toe the rubber against the Padres next. Based on San Diego's struggles against right-handed pitching this season, Gallardo can be considered a decent streaming option for that start.
