Edwin Encarnacion strikes out four times on Friday night

One of the top June performers, Edwin Encarnacion finished 0-for-5 with four strikeouts against the White Sox on Friday night. Encarnacion has a .282 batting average, nine home runs, 21 runs scored and 22 RBI in June. He has a .854 OPS this season.
Fantasy Impact:
One poor game should not sour fantasy owners on Encarnacion, as he leads the American League in RBI with 62 and is third in league with 19 home runs. He has been hitless in three of his last four games after posting a hit in eight straight games and does only have a .254 batting average this season. Encarnacion is only 5-for-28 against Miguel Gonzalez, and has a .797 OPS against right-handed pitchers this season, but does have three home runs against the right-handed starter.
