Matt Harvey loses for 10th time

by Chris Zolli | Wed, Jun 29th 6:02pm EDT

Matt Harvey lasted only 3 2/3 innings against the Nationals on Tuesday night, allowing one run on four hits while walking three batters and striking out three batters. Harvey moved to 4-10 on the season, but did wrap up June with a 2.83 ERA and 1.12 WHIP. He has a 4.55 ERA on the season and will face the Marlins on Monday.

Fantasy Impact:

A solid June should make fantasy owners happier with Harvey, but he still has lost six of his last eight decisions and only has 72 strikeouts in 89 innings this season. He has worked deeper into games, pitching six or more innings in his previous five starts and has allowed two runs or fewer in five of his last six starts. Current Marlins have a .423 OPS with only four extra-base hits against Harvey in 134 at-bats.
