Madison Bumgarner went 6.1 innings, allowing four runs on seven hits. He struck out four and walked none.
Fantasy Impact:
Another case of Bochy leaving Bumgarner in for too long, as he hit 100 pitches and almost immediately gave up a two-run shot. Bumgarner is a workhorse, but given the damage to him has been done late in his outings, it would be wise for Bruce Bochy to pull him sooner rather than later. He is still an SP1, even if the last two lines have not reflected that fact.
