Clay Buchholz gives up six runs against Angels

by John Aubin | Sun, Jul 3rd 11:28am EDT

Clay Buchholz allowed six runs (three earned) on seven hits and one walk while striking out one over 4.1 innings in Boston's embarrassing 21-2 loss to the Angles on Saturday.

Fantasy Impact:

Buccholz was quoted after the game as saying this was not a bad start as he only gave up three earned runs. But it was a short outing for the righty and his ERA is 6.17 ERA in three starts since rejoining the rotation. And he has given up 17 homers in just 80.2 innings this season. Buchholz has been bad and should not be owned and is in danger of losing his rotation spot once again.
