Carlos Ruiz has solid day at the plate versus Braves

The Phillies improved to 40-46 on the season with a 4-3 win over the Braves on Wednesday, completing a three-game sweep. Cameron Rupp had the day off behind the plate and Carlos Ruiz filled in nicely. He went 1-for-2 with two walks and is now batting .228 for the season.
Fantasy Impact:
Ruiz has done a solid job in the backup roll, with a decent on-base percentage of .338. His power numbers are low, as his .333 slugging percentage indicates. Cameron Rupp should be back in the lineup this weekend, as Ruiz likely wont see more action until late this weekend or next week.
