Evan Longoria grabs two more hits in Rays loss

by Mike Werner | Sun, Jul 10th 1:15am EDT

After going 4-for-5 and homering in yesterday's matchup against the Red Sox, Evan Longoria continued to hit, by going 2-for-4 today.

Fantasy Impact:

Even though Longoria won't be representing the Rays in the upcoming All-star game, the 30-year old has certainly put up "All-star" numbers for fantasy owners. His 19 home runs currently are fourth in the AL among third baseman, and give him the opportunity to surpass his previous career-high of 33 in 2009. With one game remaining, Longoria heads into the All-star break with a .290/.338/.527 line with 19 home runs, 47 runs scored, and 47 RBI.
