Curtis Granderson collects two hits against the Washington Nationals

by Reggie Beltran | Sun, Jul 10th 9:15am EDT

With a tough matchup against Nationals ace Max Scherzer, Granderson held his own. He finished 2-for-4 with one double and one strikeout. Unfortunately, the New York Mets could not capitilize on Granderson's productive day.

Fantasy Impact:

For the past seven days, Granderson's bat has picked up. He has a .385 batting average with two homeruns, five RBIs and five runs scored. The move to the number two hole has helped Granderson's bat. Perhaps, this could be the start of a hot streak for the veteran outfielder.
