Murphy's numbers this season are ridiculous, as he leads the National League with a .348 batting average, is second with 66 RBI, and has 46 extra-base hits, but what he has done to his former team is even more mind boggling. In 52 at-bats against the Mets, Murphy has seven home runs, 11 runs scored, 21 RBI, and a .423 batting average . It is safe to say that Murphy has been well worth the money for the Nationals and likes picking on New York.
