Bryce Harper has a .256 batting average, 19 home runs, and 13 stolen bases this season, but only has a .256 batting average in July. Harper has three home runs, four runs scored, and six RBI this month, registering three multi-hit games. He has an .891 OPS this season.
Fantasy Impact:
Bryce Harper is a top-five fantasy player, but his best value is in OBP leagues, since he leads the National League with 70 walks. It is hard to say that fantasy owners should trade Harper, but when players like Ian Desmond and Wil Myers have multi-positional eligibility and there are other positions where owners can get value, teams should be open to trading the star.
