Heyward went 0-for-3 but drew a walk which allowed him to be on base when Szczur produced the last run-scoring play that put the Cubs up 6-0.
Fantasy Impact:
Heyward was the big-name free agent signing among the positional additions in the off-season. He has been outstanding on defense, but his bat has only recently started performing like people hoped and injuries have nagged at him, causing some missed games. He will likely have a better second half.
