Cole Hamels to the rescue

The struggling Texas Rangers needed their ace to come through for them in today's series finale against the Cubs, and Cole Hamels was up to the challenge. Hamels allowed just four hits and no earned runs over eight innings in the Rangers 4-1 victory. The southpaw struck out seven and did not walk a batter in improving his season record to 10-2.
Fantasy Impact:
The Rangers desperately needed Hamels today and he didn't let them down. Pitching like the All-Star he is, Hamels limited the powerful Cubs offense to three singles and a double.
