Tigers SP Justin Verlander pitched one of his best games of the season on Wednesday, allowing one run on a home run over eights innings. Verlander allowed only three hits and two walks while striking out nine.
Fantasy Impact:
Verlander has not allowed more than two runs in his last four starts, and has racked up 32 strikeouts over those 27 2/3 innings. He is red-hot right now and should be utilized as such.
