Jason Hammel improved to 9-5 Friday against the Brewers. Hammel went five innings allowing two runs and striking out four.
Fantasy Impact:
Hammel had a solid outing Friday against the Brewers which is exactly what he should do against bottom half teams. Hammel has put together three consecutive good outings after his abysmal outing where he allowed 10 earned runs to the Mets. Hammel appears to have everything back in order. Hammel is a good back of the fantasy rotation starter.
