Sean Manaea threw eight scoreless innings against the Rays Friday night, allowing five hits and did not issue a walk.
Fantasy Impact:
Manaea struck out seven, tossing a total of 103 pitches. He has been incredible over his last 20 innings, allowing just two earned runs on 13 hits with a 17/0 K/BB. He has not had a decision during this stretch, showing how tough it is pitching for the offensively challenged A's. Manaea will look to keep it going in his next start against the Rangers in Texas.
