Jay Bruce has home runs in four consecutive games

Jay Bruce finished 1-for-5 with a solo home run on Tuesday. Bruce has a .240 batting average, 10 extra-base hits, 13 runs scored, and 19 RBI in July. He has an .891 OPS this season.

Fantasy Impact:

After almost being traded to the Blue Jays in the offseason, the Reds are looking for a top prospect in return for Bruce, who is fifth in the league with 24 home runs and leads the league with 78 RBI. Whether fantasy owners believe that this torrid streak will continue, as a part of an eight-game hitting streak, owners need to recognize that the Bruce that hit 30 home runs in each season 2011-2013 is back.
