Heyward went 1-for-3 with a walk. It was his walk in the seventh inning ahead of Javier Baez that turned Baez's eventual game-winning HR into a two-run shot.
Fantasy Impact:
Heyward was the big-name free agent signing among the positional additions in the off-season. He has been outstanding on defense, but his bat has only recently started performing like people hoped and injuries have nagged at him, causing some missed games. He will likely have a better second half.
