Steve Cishek throws the game away

Entering the game with a three-run lead, Steve Cishek was unable to close the door against the Cubs on Sunday night. He allowed three hits and threw a wild pitch to allow the tying run to score with two strikes and two outs in the 9th inning.
Fantasy Impact:
Cishek has been acceptable this season, with some shaky outings, but overall a respectable stat line. This game, however, will continue the drumbeat for Edwin Diaz to take over in the closer role for the Mariners.
