Jay Bruce to the Mets official

Jay Bruce was officially dealt to the Mets on Monday afternoon after the trade hit a snag this morning due to the medicals of one of the Mets' minor leaguers involved in the initial deal. The Mets will send 2B Dilson Herrera back to the Reds, in lieu of Brandon Nimmo, along with minor leaguer Max Wotell. (Mike Puma on Twitter )
Fantasy Impact:
Initially the Mets were sending Brandon Nimmo to the Reds as the centerpiece of the deal. After re-working the trade, minor league prospect Dilson Herrera will be going to Cincinnati. Herrera makes for a nice option in NL-only dynasty leagues for 2017 assuming he gets a starting roll at 2B/IF for the Reds. Obviously Bruce remains a great power OF option moving to the competing Mets.
