R.A. Dickey stifles Astros

R.A. Dickey allowed just one earned run in Tuesday's 2-1 victory over the Houston Astros. Through seven innings, the knuckleballer allowed six hits, walked a surprising zero batters, and struck out five. Dickey lowered his ERA to 4.49 and improved to 8-12 on the season.
Fantasy Impact:
Most metrics grade Dickey out to slightly below average this season (ERA- of 104, 0.4 fWAR). While he's getting more ground balls, his HR/FB has exploded from 9.8% in 2015 to 17.4% this year, along with a jump in BB/9 from 2.56 to 3.19. Walks plus fly balls travelling farther is a dangerous combination, but Dickey showed he's capable of righting the ship last night in Houston.
