Cole Hamels can't save the Rangers this time

Cole Hamels had a rough first inning, allowing three hits and three runs, but that was enough for the Orioles and Kevin Gausman, as Baltimore defeated Texas 3-2 on Wednesday. Hamels had control problems, issuing back-to-back walks in the first along with the three base knocks. He struck out six over his seven innings of work.
Fantasy Impact:
This was a gritty performance by Hamels, who simply didn't have his best stuff at times. Unfortunately, the Rangers offense could generate only seven hits off of Gausman and two relievers. This is only Hamels fourth loss in 34 starts for the Rangers.
