Carlos Ruiz gets three hits in win

The Phillies improved to 52-61 with a 6-5 win over the Padres on Sunday. Carlos Ruiz had a big game, going 3-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored. Ruiz, who has been swinging the bat well lately, raised his average to .262 for the season.
Fantasy Impact:
Ruiz is 13-for-33 over the last ten games, raising his batting average nearly 40 points in the process. Ruiz has a solid on-base percentage of .369, but doesn't get enough playing time to have significant fantasy value. Expect Cameron Rupp back in the lineup next game for the Phillies.
