David Ortiz sat on Sunday night after leaving Saturday's game with general fatigue in the sixth inning. Ortiz is 2-for-19 with a double and two RBI over the last seven days. He has a 1.014 OPS this season.
Fantasy Impact:
Ortiz missing Sunday's game is not a big issue, but the fact that he is without a multi-hit game in the last 10 games and that he only has one extra-base hit in that time span is troubling. He has not hit a home run since July 26 and, with power as his only real benefit for fantasy owners, he needs to find his power stroke for the playoff run.
