Carlos Gonzalez has been in and out of the lineup

Carlos Gonzalez missed Sunday's game with an ankle injury and started on Monday against the Rangers before being pulled in the first inning with the same injury. Gonzalez is 8-for-20 with five extra-base hits, four runs scored, and eight RBI over the last seven days. He has a .936 OPS this season. (Ben Weinrib on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Gonzalez has been on fire, so him missing a considerable amount of time would be a huge blow for fantasy owners in the stretch run of the season. From July 29-August 3, he had multiple RBI in four of five games; that is the kind of talent that the Rockies and fantasy owners would be missing, so keep an eye on his status for Tuesday and the future.
