Rizzo went 2-for-3 with a walk. He would come around to score the eventual winning run and later would also score the final run of the game in a 5-1 victory.

Rizzo is among the league leaders of the NL in game-winning hits. He has 24 HR, which are second on the team and among the NL leaders. His team-high 80 RBI are among the NL leaders and both home runs and RBI numbers are elite paces at this point of the season. He has also scored 69 runs which is top-10 in the NL. He now has his on-base percentage at a great .398. Rizzo likely will end the season as a top-five 1B.
