Ian Desmond collects two hits, drives in two and scores twice on Thursday

Ian Desmond went 2-for-6 with two RBI, two runs scored, and one strikeout in the Rangers' 12-9 loss to the Rockies on Thursday.
Fantasy Impact:
On the season, Desmond has been solid with a slash line of .291/.341/.486 to go along with 20 home runs, 25 doubles, two triples, 70 RBI, 81 runs scored, 17 steals and 124 strikeouts in 114 games played. Desmond has slowed down quite a bit in July and August after ridiculous May and June months. So far in August, Desmond is batting .177 with no home runs, seven RBI, six runs scored and 14 strikeouts in 45 at-bats.
