Matt Garza held the Braves to two runs on seven hits over six innings to earn his sixth win of the season on Thursday afternoon at Miller Park. He walked three, struck out two, and threw 94 pitches, 58 of them for strikes.
Fantasy Impact:
The good: Garza won his third consecutive start for the Brewers, he's thrown 17.1 innings, allowed 14 hits and five earned runs over that span. The bad: Garza's K/BB rate over that same stretch is 10/7. The ugly: he's given up a home run in each of the starts. Garza remains a great gamble in daily fantasy tournaments, and is best left on the waiver wire in your mixed league. He gets the Cubs in his next start Tuesday evening at Wrigley Field.
