Brandon McCarthy placed on the disabled list with hip injury

A hip injury is expected to land Los Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Brandon McCarthy back on the disabled list, the second time the right-hander has gone on the DL this year. (ESPN.com)
Fantasy Impact:
McCarthy has been a disappointment for some time now and should not be anywhere near your fantasy team. So far this season McCarthy has a 3.63 ERA with a 1.27 WHIP in only eight games (34.2 innings) this season. If you have not done so already go and cut McCarthy as there are plently of other pitchers putting up better value.
