The Pittsburgh Pirates picked up an 8-5 win against the San Francisco Giants, and McCutchen pushed two runners across home plate with a single (2-for-5, two RBI).
Fantasy Impact:
Cutch is one of the biggest fantasy busts this season, no doubt about it, but he can still provide positive fantasy outputs, like on Monday night. With an underachieving .243/.324/.403 line and 49 RBI to his name, the Pirates, and fantasy owners need him to reach a new level in order for a potential playoff push. He only has one XBH in the month of August.
