Matt Holliday could return this season

Matt Holliday, who was recently placed on the disabled list with a thumb injury that requires surgery, could return to play this season, according to the Cardinals. (Jim Hayes on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
While this may be the case, Holliday is most likely going to be sidelined for any fantasy-relevant periods of the 2016 season. The veteran ad a so-so season, posting only an OPS of .768, but he did provide 19 home runs and 60 RBI over just 107 games.
