Paul Goldschmidt finished 1-for-4 with a walk against the Padres on Thursday, scoring twice. Goldschmidt is 8-for-24 with a triple, two doubles, and 12 runs scored over the last seven days. He has a .920 OPS this season.
Fantasy Impact:
Goldschmidt has a run scored in four consecutive games, including three multi-run performances, but has not driven in a runner since August 10. Any critique of the top 1B to purely nitpicking, though, as he fills every category on the board, even if his home run and RBI totals (18 and 74 respectively) are a bit low.
