Freddie Freeman with an eight-game hitting streak

by Chris Zolli | Dodgers Correspondent | Fri, Aug 19th 8:28am EDT

Freddie Freeman finished 1-for-4 with a double and run scored on Thursday against the Nationals. Freeman is 8-for-18 with two doubles, three home runs, six runs scored, and seven RBI over the last seven days. He has a .926 OPS this season.

Fantasy Impact:

Freeman may be the hottest player in fantasy baseball, as he has five home runs in his last eight games and has also walked in eight of his last nine games. His ability to get on base, combined with the additions of Matt Kemp and Dansby Swanson, will only enhance the prospectus for the top-10 1B Freeman for the remainder of the season.
