Brett Anderson gets pummelled by the Reds and exits early due to a blister

by Stan Son | Sat, Aug 20th 11:00pm EDT

Brett Anderson allowed nine hits (one home run), six earned runs, walked two, and struck out one in three innings Saturday against the Cincinnati Reds. He left the game early due to a blister on his left index finger. 33-of-59 pitches were thrown for strikes.

Fantasy Impact:

Since returning to the rotation, Anderson has a 24.75 ERA, 4.25 WHIP with one strikeout in four innings pitched. I smell a trip to the "Disgraceful List" soon. As it stands now, Anderson would be in line to start at home to face the Giants, a team that ranks 19th in OPS against LHP.
