Cespedes extended his homerun streak to two games with his seventh inning homerun off Jeff Samardzija. Overall, he finished 1-for-4 with one strikeout.
Fantasy Impact:
For the season, Cespedes now has 25 homeruns with 64 RBIs. If his teammates could get on base more, his RBI total would be much higher. The New York Mets will need him to have a big September to stay in playoff contention.
