Matt Adams nearing rehab assignment

Matt Adams told reporters that he's hoping to begin a rehab assignment in the coming days. He's been sidelined since early August with a shoulder injury. (Chris Hrabe on Twitter)

Adams could be back within a week of beginning a rehab assignment, so it looks like he's on track to rejoin the Cardinals around the end of August or early September.
