Chase Anderson strikes out seven Rockies in his return to the rotation

by JP Gale | Red Sox Correspondent | Wed, Aug 24th 11:50am EDT

Chase Anderson made his first start since he was removed from a start last week with a leg injury. He allowed three runs to the Rockies on six hits over five innings while walking two and striking out seven batters.

Fantasy Impact:

While he didn't earn the win, it was a solid start for Anderson as he tied a season high with seven strikeouts and held the powerful Rockies offense to just three runs. Anderson left the game with his team down 2-3, but the Brewers stormed back late and kept Anderson from earning his eleventh loss of the season. He'll look to build on this success in his next start against the Pirates at Miller Park on Sunday afternoon.
