Gerrit Cole allowed seven hits and five earned runs while walking one and striking out four over five innings in the Pirates 5-4 loss to the Astros.
Fantasy Impact:
After being a bit underwhelming, but still solid throughout much of the season, Cole has fallen apart in August. He has allowed 18 earned runs in 26.2 innings pitched and has allowed 50 hits and walks combined. Needless to say, this current stretch is taking a toll on your team's ratio stats and his value moving forward this season has to be in question.
