Matt Carpenter blasts solo home run

Matt Carpenter went 1-for-5 with a solo home run on Wednesday against the Mets. It was Carpenter's 16th home run of the season.
Fantasy Impact:
Carpenter has really struggled since returning from the disabled list, batting just .219 with two home runs and four RBI. After missing about a month, it's understandable that Carpenter may take some time to find his groove, and hopefully Wednesday's home run was a step in the right direction.
