A.J.Griffin twirls six innings of shutout ball
by Mitch Cox | Sun, Aug 28th 1:12am EDT
A.J. Griffin had his best outing of the season, tossing six innings of shutout ball to lead the Rangers to a 7-0 blanking of the Cleveland Indians on Saturday. Griffin allowed just five hits, walked one and struck out six to earn his first win since August 4.
Fantasy Impact:
The Indians lineup is a tough one, as evidenced by their 12-1 shellacking of the Rangers yesterday, so for Griffin to shut them out over six innings is impressive.
