Jon Lester allowed seven hits and struck out seven batters without a walk in seven scoreless innings against the Astros on Friday. Lester is 2-0 with an 0.56 ERA and 0.75 WHIP in September, striking out 11 batters in 16 innings. He is 16-4 with a 2.51 ERA this season and will face the Cardinals in St. Louis on Wednesday.
