Gio Gonzalez keeps winning

Gio Gonzalez allowed one run on four hits in seven innings on Sunday, striking five batters and walking only one. Gonzalez is 1-0 with a 6.30 ERA and 1.30 WHIP this month, striking out nine batters in 10 innings. He is 11-9 with a 4.27 ERA this season and he will face the Braves in Atlanta on September 17.
Fantasy Impact:
Gonzalez has a quality start in three of his last four starts and has won five straight decisions. Even though he has been very good of late, he has not struck out more than five batters in a start since August 21. Current Braves have a .766 OPS in 145 career at-bats against Gonzalez and he has 4-5 and 4.22 ERA on road this season.
