Clayton Kershaw dominated the Yankees

by Stan Son | Dodgers Correspondent | Wed, Sep 14th 10:36pm EDT

Clayton Kershaw allowed one hit and struck out five in five innings Wednesday against the New York Yankees. 42-of-64 pitches were thrown for strikes.

Fantasy Impact:

Kershaw had to endure multiple rain delays, which probably cut the outing short due to the additional bullpen pitches he threw. Kershaw looks to be rounding back into form after being shut down back in late June. He has a 1.81 ERA, 0.73 WHIP with 155 strikeouts and only nine walks in 129 innings. Kershaw is next scheduled to face the Giants at home, a team that ranks 22nd in OPS against LHP.
