Carlos Gomez finished 0-for-2 with a walk and two strikeouts on Wednesday against the Astros. Gomez is 4-for-22 with a double, two home runs, three runs scored, and three RBI over the last seven days. He has a .627 OPS this season.
Fantasy Impact:
Gomez has found a spark in his bat with three extra-base hits in the last week, and did have a two-home run game, but he still only has a .250 batting average this month. He may be best left on the waiver wire, but could be an interesting play in DFS when the Rangers opt to put him near the top of the lineup as they have recently.
