Ryan Braun smacks two homers in win over Cubs

Braun went 3-for-5 with two home runs and five RBI in an 11-3 win over the Cubs on Saturday. Trailing 3-2 in the sixth, Braun hit a two-run shot off Cubs' starter Jake Arrieta to give the Brewers a 4-3 lead. He followed up in his next at-bat in the eighth inning with another two-run homer to extend the lead.

Fantasy Impact:

With his two-homer day on Saturday, Braun has raised his season total up to 30 long balls, his most since 2012. He has been on a power surge since the beginning of August with 16 homers and 42 RBI over his last 42 games. After a matchup on Sunday against Cubs right-hander Kyle Hendricks, Braun and the Brewers will return home with favorable matchups agasint the Pirates and Reds next week.
