A.J. Griffin struggles through his shortest outing of the season

A.J. Griffin lasted just 1.2 innings on Tuesday, allowing three hits and three runs in a game eventually won by the Rangers 5-4 over the Angels. Griffin had control issues during his brief outing, walking four hitters as well, while striking out only one.
Fantasy Impact:
Griffin did himself no favors tonight as there are six starters vying for a slot in the playoff rotation. Cole Hamels and Yu Darvish are guaranteed spots, despite shaky outings of late. The third and possibly fourth spot will be up for grabs among Griffin, Colby Lewis, Derek Holland and Martin Perez.
