Chris Archer allowed two runs on seven hits in six innings against the Red Sox on Friday, striking out seven batters and walking two. Archer is 0-2 with a 3.51 ERA and 1.09 WHIP in September, striking out 26 batters in 25 2/3 innings. He is 8-19 with a 4.02 ERA this season and will pitch again in Chicago against the White Sox on September 28.
Fantasy Impact:
Archer now has eight quality starts in his last 10 starts, including five in a row, but only has three wins in those starts. He is 4-7 with a 3.19 ERA in the second half, striking out 98 batters in 84 2/3 innings.
