Mike Trout's X-rays on shoulder came back negative

by CD Hill | Angels Correspondent | Thu, Sep 29th 6:25pm EDT

Mike Trout left Wednesday's game against the A's after being hit in the left shoulder by a pitch from John Axford. The Angels outfielder underwent X-rays afterwards and they showed no break in the shoulder area. Trout revealed that he had soreness after Wednesday's contest, but remained optimistic and confident that he'd finish out the rest of the regular season starting in his squad's last three games. Fantasy Impact:

Trout is close to finishing the season with 30 homers and 30 stolen bases (he currently has 29 home runs and 27 stolen bases) and is close to finishing the season with a 1.000 OPS mark too (he currently has a .997 OPS). If he plays again, he's a no-brainer start moving forward in fantasy leagues and an excellent top-tier pick to go with in DFS leagues.
