by John Aubin | Fri, Oct 14th 11:10am EDT

Dustin Pedroia underwent minor surgery on his left knee and is expected to be ready for spring training, the Boston Globe's Pete Abraham reports. He had a left knee arthroscopy (partial medial meniscectomy, chondroplasty) Thursday to treat an injury he suffered in mid-September. (Pete Abraham on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Pedroia remained relatively healthy in 2016 in had his best season since 2011. He finished the season hitting .318 with 15 homers, 75 RBI and 105 runs scored. He should go into 2017 fully healthy and should be considered a top ten fantasy second baseman.
